Esmerelda was born some time ago.

She won't say exactly how old she is, but she was there when Alton Towers was built (The actual Towers, not the theme park) and there for the erection of the London Bridge. She's been around. She kept mostly out of the sunlight until 2002 when she gained employment with the Master of Alton Towers as the keeper of his door (door-keeper to you and me) in Terror of the Towers, and since then has returned several times to keep the master and his minions company.

She has also made appearances at 'The Cloakroom' for Scarecon at the Birmingham NEC (but she didn't like the locals). Then, there was The London Bridge Experience for the American Werewolf Event... (again the locals were a problem) and Tulley's Farm Shocktober Fest (it's a farm...everyone's local).

Esmerelda generally doesn't like people, but has a profound and deep rooted fondness for gin.
